Mike Kaha is a veteran employee of Waste Management of Hawaii and has been with us since October 1993. As the site manager for our West Hawaii Landfill, his responsibilities include serving as a point of contact for customers, employees, contractors and the general public. Before joining Waste Management, Mike worked for the Laborers Union in Honolulu.

“Most people who call our site want to talk to someone who can provide answers to their questions or just be a sounding board for their opinions,” said Mike. “I get to serve that role for them, and to let them know that we are here to listen, help and serve. My goal is to manage and meet the expectations that kamaaina have for Waste Management of Hawaii on a daily basis.”

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, whether it’s going to the beach or watching favorite TV shows together.
